چکیده

PSR J1946+3417 is a millisecond pulsar (MSP) with spin period P ≃ 3.17 ms. Harbored in binary an orbital Pb 27 days, the MSP accompanied by white dwarf (WD). The masses of and WD were determined to be 1.83 M⊙ 0.266 M⊙, respectively. Specially, its eccentricity e 0.134, which challenging recycling model MSPs. Assuming that neutron star may collapse strange when mass reaches critical limit, we propose phase transition (PT) scenario account for origin system. sudden loss kick induced asymmetric during PT result eccentricity. If event takes place after transfer ceases, eccentric orbit cannot re-circularized Hubble time. Aiming at both components, simulate evolution progenitor via MESA. simulations show NS / main sequence initial 1.4+1.6 2.59 days will evolve into consisting 2.0 0.27 ∼21.5 days. gravitational fraction 10%, effect program BSE velocity σPT = 60 km s−1. results can reproduce observed higher probability than other values.

The Fastest Rotating Pulsar : a Strange Star ?

According to the observational limits on the radius and mass, PSR 1937+21 is probably a strange star, or some neutron star equations of state should be ruled out, if we alternatively suggest that a dipole magnetic field (rather than a quadrupole one) is relevant to its radio emission. In order to find solid evidence to shown that PSR 1937+21 is a strange star, it is strongly suggested to measur...

Psr 0943 + 10 : a Bare Strange Star ?

Recent work by Rankin & Deshpande strongly suggests that there exist strong " micro-storms " rotating around the magnetic axis of the 1.1s pulsar PSR 0943+10. Such a feature hints that most probably the large-voltage vacuum gap proposed by Ruderman & Sutherland (RS) does exist in the pulsar polar cap. However, there are severe arguments against the formation of the RS-type gap in pulsars, since...

Timing the Eccentric Binary Millisecond Pulsar in Ngc 1851

We have used the Green Bank Telescope to observe the millisecond pulsar PSR J0514 4002A on 43 occasions spread over 2 years. This 5 ms pulsar is located in the globular cluster NGC 1851; it belongs to a binary system and has a highly eccentric (e 1⁄4 0:888) orbit. We have obtained a phase-coherent timing solution for this object, including very precise position, spin, and orbital parameters. The...

An eccentric binary millisecond pulsar in the galactic plane.

Binary pulsar systems are superb probes of stellar and binary evolution and the physics of extreme environments. In a survey with the Arecibo telescope, we have found PSR J1903+0327, a radio pulsar with a rotational period of 2.15 milliseconds in a highly eccentric (e = 0.44) 95-day orbit around a solar mass (M(middle dot in circle)) companion. Infrared observations identify a possible main-seq...

Fallback Disk Accretion - Involved Formation Channel to PSR J 1903 + 0327

The discovery of the eccentric binary and millisecond pulsar PSR J1903+03273 has raised interesting questions about the formation mechanisms of this peculiar system. Here we present a born-fast scenario for PSR J1903+03273. We assume that during the supernova (SN) explosion that produced the pulsar, a fallback disk was formed around and accreted onto the newborn neutron star. Mass accretion cou...
